The Canterbury House:
The Canterbury House (204 East Roanoke Street) is the heart of the life of the Canterbury Fellowship. Not only is this our place of worship, it is also a central place in our community life together. The four students who live here take care of the house and want you to know that you are welcome to drop by. We have a TV lounge (with DVD player and gaming available), a back deck, a community kitchen and washers and dryers available to the members of the Canterbury Fellowship. We also try to garden (with mixed success) and find other fix-up projects.
In 1997 the wonderful people of Christ Church committed themselves to renovate the Canterbury House. They raised the money and did much of the work themselves! We are eternally grateful to them. We now have a four bedroom, five bathroom house, with a great kitchen and an amazing meeting room. We are very proud of our house!
